PUNE, Aug 12: Anchored by an all-round performance from Pravin Bandkar, United Sports CC defeated Deodhar XI by an innings and seven runs in the MCA under-19 invitation cricket league here today.
Bandkar first helped reduce the second innings of Deodhar XI to 66 all out, with brilliant bowling figures of three wickets for the cost of just six runs, and then stroked up a half century to propel United Sports CC to a comfortable win.
Bandkar was ably aided by bowler Abid Maskati who returned figures of five for eighteen.
