One food item that we can never get enough of is, definitely, pizza. This Italian delicacy, consisting of a flat base made using wheat-based dough and topped with tomatoes, cheese, and various other ingredients can be devoured at any hour of the day and is the perfect solution to all our stress, worries, and, of course, hunger pangs. As such, we often end up ordering more pizzas than we can enjoy at one time, leaving us with leftovers for the next day.

However, once refrigerated, pizzas turn hard and toppings end up being soggy, making it difficult to restore the leftover dish to its original taste. While most food items can be just reheated on a stove or a microwave, you need to go the extra mile for your pizza to make it taste as delicious as before. And, this is where a viral hack, shared on Twitter, will help you!

“Re-heating pizza glitch?” an account, which goes by the name ‘Barstool Sports’ wrote on Twitter, demonstrating how you can reheat your pizza to make it as good as new.

In the video, a pizza was kept inside a heated pan over an induction cooktop. Next, a few drops of water was added to the pan (not on the pizza). After adding water to the pan, cover the lid of the pan. Due to the heat inside the pan, water quickly evaporates to form steam and heat the pizza kept inside it. A minute later, the leftover pizza looked completely scrumptious and ready to eat! Going by the video, the otherwise soggy crust and cheese melted again to make the dish look just like a freshly-baked one.

Soon after it was posted, the video went viral on the microblogging site, amassing over 21.8 million views and 87.3k likes. Several people took to the comment section to share their views about this hack and also suggest alternative methods.

While a user wrote, “Lemme try this next time,” another asked: “Looks good. Will the bread be soggy?”

“Honestly, this works great but that’s too much water added – only need a few drops,” a user added.

Sharing another technique of reheating leftover pizza, a user commented, “Sprinkle water on both sides. Put on a pizza sheet(with holes). Put in the oven immediately then heat to 400. When the oven beeps, take the pizza out. Perfect.” Several others suggested reheating it in an air fryer.
