The Barbie fever, ignited by the much-anticipated release of the Greta Gerwig film Barbie, has taken the world by storm. The trend of Barbiecore fashion has dominated the style scene for a whole year, and various brands, including food chains, have jumped on the bandwagon by introducing pink-themed meals to pay homage to the movie. This pink frenzy shows no signs of slowing down, as the captivating hue continues to be splashed everywhere.
Adding to the list of Burger King Brazil and Grill’d Australia, a cafe in Delhi has embraced the Barbie trend and launched its own pink-themed meals. Cocopots, owned by chef Ritika from New York City, has amazed netizens with its eye-catching pink menu items, such as a pink burger, a bubblegum milkshake, and fries with pink sauce.
“It’s a Barbie world, and we’re just dining in it! Get ready to indulge in a magical meal inspired by the fabulous Barbie movie at @cocopotsbyritika,” announced the cafe’s official Instagram account, located in Delhi’s Kamala Nagar.
The post continued, “From the delicious burger and dip to the perfectly seasoned fries and the dreamy bubble gum shake, you won’t want to miss out on this captivating culinary journey.”
But wait, there’s more! Cocopots has taken it up a notch by offering an edible pink shoe dessert, modelled after Barbie’s iconic stilettos, served alongside an edible pink handbag, marshmallows, jellies, wafers, and more.
Named ‘Barbie in Wonderland,’ this dessert is a tribute to the enchanting Barbie movie and serves as “a delightful masterpiece for all the dessert dreamers out there! Each bite is a journey to the fairy tale realm and makes your tastebuds dance with joy.”
For those who can’t get enough, Cocopots also offers a range of Barbie-inspired mini cakes, cakesicles, and pinata cakes. The menu is a feast for the eyes and our taste buds, showcasing the creativity and the passion of the chef.
Pasta lovers are not left out either, as the cafe has introduced the ‘Barbie Pasta Platter’, featuring a plate of delectable pink sauce pasta. “Something new, something healthy, Barbie Pasta Platter,” it announced.
