RJD Leader Rajkumar Rai Shot Dead In Patna: The Patna police said the shooting took place at Chitragupta Nagar of Kankerbagh when Yadav was returning to his residence at Chitragupta Magar.
Parichay Kumar, Superintendent of Police (Patna East), who reached the spot, said: "We have been talking to the driver of Rajkumar Yadav. Prima facie, it looks to be a case of land dispute and money transactions." (PTI)

RJD Leader Rajkumar Rai Shot Dead: A Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, who also owned a property business, was shot dead in the Kankerbagh area of the Bihar capital Patna Wednesday night. The Patna police suspect land dispute and money transactions could be behind the murder of Rajkumar Yadav alias Aala Rai.
However, no arrest has been made so far.

The Patna police said the shooting took place at around 10 pm Wednesday at Chitragupta Nagar of Kankerbagh when Yadav was returning to his residence at Chitragupta Magar. As soon as his car stopped, unidentified people started firing at the vehicle.
Yadav, however, managed to come out of his car, and run to hide in a nearby restaurant. However, the assailants chased him to the restaurant and fired six bullets at him.
He was taken to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), where he succumbed to his injuries.
Parichay Kumar, Superintendent of Police (Patna East), who reached the spot, said: “We have been talking to the driver of Rajkumar Yadav. Prima facie, it looks to be a case of land dispute and money transactions.”
RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said, “The NDA government has lost control over the law and order situation. Assailants have no fear of police even in the state capital”.
