Illegally stored crackers seized in Jammu; 4 held

Four persons were arrested in connection with the recovery of illegally stored crackers at different places here,officials said.

On a tip off,police conducted raids in localities of Govindpura and Nanak Nagar in the city and recovered illegally stored crackers worth Rs 4-5 lakhs from different houses on Monday,they said.

The crackers were seized from the houses of siblings-Kuldeep Kumar and Aman Kumar at Govindpura and Surinder Kumar and Sumit Gupta at Nanak Nagar.

Police have arrested all the four accused and registered a case against them,they added.
