Goods worth over Rs 3.23 cr traded between J-K and PoK

Goods worth over Rs 3.23 crore were traded through 39 trucks.

Goods worth over Rs 3.23 crore were traded through 39 trucks between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) along the Line of Control (LoC) at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district on Wednesday,officials said.

As many as 18 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir to PoK on Wednesday,they said,adding that these trucks carried bags of coconuts and red chillies worth Rs 1,00,18,535.

From PoK,as many as 21 trucks carrying bags of almonds,dry fruits,dates and embroidered items came to this side worth Rs 2,23,15,130,they said.

Officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1200 hrs to 1245 hrs and 1630 hrs to 1700 hrs respectively,they said.
