Bihar Elections 2025: Jan Suraaj Founder Prashant Kishor on Friday suffered an injury in his ribs during the roadshow in Arrah. Kishor was brought to the party’s stage following the injury.

Sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter), the party said, “While accepting greetings from the crowd, Prashant Kishor got injured in his ribcage at the vehicle’s gate. The situation is fine now.”

Meanwhile, Bhojpuri singer Ritesh Pandey and former IPS officer Jaiprakash Singh joined the Jan Suraaj Party today in the presence of Kishor. Welcoming them into the party, Kishor said, “We deliberately chose a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bihar and will try to ensnare the people with his big talk,” reports PTI.

Singh, a resident of Saran district, who had risen to the ADGP rank in Himachal Pradesh cadre, said he took VRS after 25 years of service “because I realised that the Jan Suraaj was out to create history in my home state”.

Pandey broke into an impromptu Hindi song that underscored the Jan Suraaj Party’s aspiration of ensuring “all get rozi roti (employment opportunity) on the state’s soil”.
