Patna faces severe water logging, Bihar minister set for UK trip to study town planning

Low lying areas of Patna mainly Kankarbagh has been water logged because of rains over last week.

Even as Patna has been facing severe water-logging for weeks, Bihar Urban Development Minister Samrat Choudhary is all set to visit UK to study waste management and town planning.

The water-logging has even forced the state government to request the Union Home Department to send army to raise a makeshift iron bridge to declog water passage.

Low lying areas of Patna mainly Kankarbagh has been water logged because of rains over last week.

Though Chief Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi did not comment on his minister’s foreign trip, he pulled up Patna Municipal Corporation for its inaction. The Patna High Court had also pulled up the government.
