A labourer hailing from Assam was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kargil district of Ladakh region on Friday,police said.

The body of Rajindra Narzary (35) was found at Hunkey Nalla near Heera Bridge Magmore in Kargil,204 kms from here,they said.

Police have registered a case and started investigations to ascertain the cause of his death.
