IOC official ‘assaulted’ by SP MLA’s kin

The incident took place on Sunday but the police are yet to file an FIR based on Arvind’s complaint.

An assistant manager posted at Indian Oil Corporation’s bottling plant in Etawah was allegedly assaulted by the nephew of a SP MLA and his aides in Etawah city. Arvind Yadav alleged that the son of Rakesh Yadav, Adviser in UP Rural Engineering Services department with minister of state rank, was also among those who assaulted him.

The incident took place on Sunday but the police are yet to file an FIR based on Arvind’s complaint. He has named Pramod Yadav, nephew of Mainpuri MLA Rajkumar Yadav, Pramod’s sons Saurabh and Gaurav, Ramvir Yadav, a resident of Etawah, and four others.

Arvind alleged that Ramvir and Pramod had been pressuring him to provide LPG cylinders, which he declined as he was authorised to provide it only to registered agencies. He said he was at a shop when the accused assaulted him with the butts of rifles leaving him seriously injured.
