He said 50,000 pieces of bones, 3,000 used condoms, 500 used abortion injections and 10,000 cigarette buds, are found in JNU waste every day. Patna, Jan 24 (ANI): District Superintendent of Police A.S. Thakur on Sunday said that Janata Dal (United) MLA Sarfaraz Alam has been arrested and interrogation is underway. Meanwhile, maintaining his stand, arrested Sarfaraz Alam today said the charges of molestation that have been made against him are completely false and baseless. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on January 17 when Alam allegedly misbehaved with the couple on board the train. An FIR was registered against him with GRP Patna the next day. The MLA was allegedly travelling without ticket and was drunk. A footage of the purported incident was also aired by the media.

Patna, Jan 22 (ANI): Commenting on the molestation case against Janata Dal-United (JDU) MLA Sarfaraz Alam, Bihar's Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav on Friday said he should be thrown in jail. An FIR was registered against Alam for misbehaving with a woman passenger on the Guwahati-Rajdhani Express on Sunday night.The case was filed at GRP police station in Patna, and Alam has been booked under sections 341, 323, 290, 504 and 354A of the IPC.
