It announces that he has a filed a writ petition in the Delhi High Court against what he calls the “media’s provocative and misleading strategy”. He calls on readers to post instances of the media promoting news in a wrong light. “Har jagah gandagi phaila rakha hai in logon ne, aayo inko sabak sikhayen (These people have defiled the atmosphere everywhere, let’s teach them a lesson),” he goes on to add.

On Wednesday, Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi told reporters that Vikram has been issued summons asking him to appear before the police team investigating the assault at Patiala House Courts. He confirmed to The Indian Express that he was part of the group that attacked journalists and JNU students at the court.

“A few media people were possibly caught in between as we were beating people who recorded videos. But when we realised they were from the media, we asked them to leave,” Vikram told The Indian Express.
