Pathankot attack: Kerala govt announces Rs 50 lakh aid for Lt Col Niranjan’s family

The Kerala Government on Wednesday announced a financial aid of Rs 50 lakh for the family of the Lt Colonel E K Niranjan who was killed in the terrorist attack at the IAF base in Pathankot.

The cabinet also decided to give job for his widow Dr K G Radhika in state service and to bear the educational expenses of their daughter Vismaya.

Niranjan belonged to a Kerala family settled in Bangalore. His mortal remains were laid to rest at the family’s ancestral house in Palakkad district on Tuesday.
