The arms would be produced as evidence for exhibit and identification by the witnesses, NIA (National Investigation Agency) senior public prosecutor told court. The arms and ammunition belonged to terrorists killed during the counter-terror operation.

Punjab Police SP Salwinder Singh was, on Monday, not declared the official prosecution witness by the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) for the Pathankot terror attack. A designated court has also asked NIA to produce the ammunition seized from the Pathankot airbase.

Amristar, Jan 21 (ANI): The National Investigating Agency (NIA) team on Thursday reached suspended Gurdaspur Superintendent of Police (SP) Salvinder Singh’s residence to further investigate the Pathankot airbase attack. Earlier, Salvinder had undergone a lie detector test at the NIA office in New Delhi. Salvinder has been allegedly accused of helping the terrorists to carry out the Pathankot airbase attack.

New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Friday said the arrest of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) chief Maulana MasoodAzhar in connection with the Pathankot attack was all a media hype. Swamy stressed that there has been no confirmation from Pakistan and therefore media statements could not be considered factual. Meanwhile, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit also expressed his views, saying the arrest made by Pakistan is nothing but ostentation.

Sinha also urged people not to comment on Pathankot attack as it is a sensitive issue and different opinions can further deteriorate the situation.
