WB West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2024: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) on Thursday May 2 announced the Madhyamik result. The WB Madhyamik exam marks are released at wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.
The West Bengal Class 10 result are also available at education.indianexpress.com.
A total of 9,12,598 students who appeared for the WB Madhyamik exam, 7,64,252 passed. Candidates will be required to key in their registration number/ roll number and password to check the scorecard.
This year total 9,12,598 students appeared in the examination out of which 7,65,252 were successful. About 25.95 more female candidates appeared in the exam this year than their male counterparts.
In 2021, WBBSE President, informed that pass percentage has been recorded to be 100 per cent. A total of 79 candidates have achieved 697 out of 700 marks. Last year, 86.34 candidates were declared pass.
In the Madhyamik Class 10 exams 2022, boys outperformed girls. The boys’ pass percentage was 88.59 per cent, while 85 per cent of female students passed the Madhyamik exam successfully. An overall pass percentage of 86.60 per cent was recorded this year.
Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the result declaration. To collect the original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools a few days after the result 2024 declaration. To check the board Result 2024 online, students are required to have their roll code and roll number.
In 2023, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 86.15 per cent this year. Devdutta Majhi was the West Bengal Madhyamik topper. A total of 6,98,628 students registered for the class 10 exams.
Students will also have the option to request photocopies of their answer booklets and OMR sheets. After the announcement of the class 10 results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the board compartment exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the board class 10 result declaration.
