The admit cards were released in the late hours of Wednesday. Candidates can now download their hall tickets by keying in their application number and date of birth at the official NEET UG website. According to the NTA calendar, the NEET UG 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 7 from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. It will be 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes) long exam.

The lower age limit to appear for NEET UG 2023 is 17 year, i.e., the candidate must have been born on or before December 31, 2006. There is no upper age limit.
There will be a total 45 questions per subject and maximum marks will be 720. There will be four subjects-- Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each subject will have two parts-- Part A will have 35 questions all of which needs to be answered while Part B will have 15 questions out of which 10 need to be answered. Each question will be of four marks and for every incorrect answer one mark will be deducted and 0 mark will be awarded for unanswered questions.

The maximum marks for the paper is 720.

The Bombay High Court Wednesday dismissed a plea seeking relaxation of the criterion of scoring 75 per cent marks in Class 12 (Higher Secondary Examination) exams to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) despite there being a qualifying exam for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs). The Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bharati Pravin Pawar has clarified in the Lok Sabha that there is no proposal to conduct NEET UG twice in a year. The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra will release the MHT CET 2023 admit card from tomorrow morning, an official informed indianexpress.com. Once released, registered and eligible students will be able to check their admit cards at the official MHT CET website — mhtcet2023.mahacet.org.

- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at centre.
- One post card size (4”X6”) color photograph with white background should be pasted on the proforma downloaded with the admit card. The proforma with post card size photograph shall be handed over to the invigilator in the examination hall.
- Any one of the authorised photo IDs (must be original and valid and like PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card /Ration Card/ Class 12 admit card with photograph /any other valid photo ID issued by the government.
- PwBD certificate issued by the competent authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwBD category.
Any candidate who comes after 01:30 pm shall not be permitted to enter the NEET UG 2023 exam centres.
