Madras University November Session Results 2025: The University of Madras (UoM) will shortly declare the examination results for the undergraduate, postgraduate courses and OT (Sanskrit) degree, as per reports. The semester exams were conducted in November/ December 2024. Madras University will host the results on the official websites — unom.ac.in, and egovernance.unom.ac.in/results.

Candidates who appeared for the Madras University examination can check the results using their registration number, date of birth and captcha code. The results will be released for UG, PG courses including BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, BCA, BEd, MEd, LLB among others.

In case of re-evaluation, a fee of Rs 1000 was charged for each answer sheet. The amount for this should be drawn in the name of ‘Registrar, Chennai University. For re-evaluation, students have time between March 10 and 14.

Madras University November Session Results 2025: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official website, unom.ac.in, and egovernance.unom.ac.in/results.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result link depending upon the degree, a student is pursuing, that is UG or PG
Step 3: Once selected, the students will be redirected to a new page
Step 4: Mention log-in credentials like admit card number and date of birth and then select the submit button
Step 5: Result will appear on the screen.

The Madras University UG students can apply for re-totalling of the marksheet through the official website along with a demand draft of Rs 300 for each subject.

The marksheet produced by the Madras University will have the name of the student, registration number, roll number, courses appeared, courses registered for, marks of the student, course code, result status, maximum marks, and results date. It will also have a signature or stamp from the concerned authority.

Meanwhile, in the National Institutional Ranking Framework, a national-level ranking released by the Ministry of Education every year, the University ranked at 39th spot in 2024 with a score of 55.03.

Not only in the Universities category, the Madras-based educational institution ranked 64 in the overall category, also with a score of 52.58.

In 2023, it secured 65 under the overall category with a score of 49.93, on the other hand, it secured a 50 spot under the universities category in NIRF 2023. The University is one of the oldest and was established in 1857 under an act of the Legislative Council of India during British rule.
