JEE Main Session 4 Result Updates: The wait for JEE Main (May) 2021 session result continues as the result stands delayed as per a notification on the JEE Advanced registration website. Due to the delay in results, the registration process of JEE Advanced 2021 exam has been rescheduled.

IIT-Kharagpur to provide full-ride scholarship for JEE Advanced top 100 rankers

IIT Kharagpur has instituted a full ride scholarship to support students who figure in the top 100 of all India rankings of JEE advanced.  The scholarship will be implemented from the 2021-22 academic session and will consider students whose parents’ gross annual income is less than Rs 20 lakh. NTA revises exam schedule for UG, PG entrance test

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has interchanged the schedule of test papers of undergraduate/ integrated and postgraduate (PG) programmes. As per the new schedule, the entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate courses in central universities will now be conducted on September 23. Read more.

AICTE directs institutes to provisionally admit CBSE private, patrachar students

The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) on Friday said that institutes must not deny admission to students whose class 12 results have not been declared. These students include CBSE private category candidates, patrachar and second compartment students. The provisional admission policy is only applicable to institutes that are admitting students on the basis of their performance in national-level entrance exams such as JEE or state-level admission tests. IIT-Madras is the top engineering college in India

Today, the Education Ministry released the top educational institutes ranking where IIT-Madras has got rank 1. The IITs dominated the engineering category by occupying eight out of the top 10 spots. Tie-breaking formula for JEE Main 2021

If two students get the same score, NTA will use a tie-breaking procedure to declare their ranks in JEE Main 2021. Here's the formula:

  • Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be prefered, followed by
  • NTA score in Physics, followed by
  • NTA score in Chemistry
  • If the tie remains, the candidate with a lesser ratio of negative to positive response will be preferred

Seat matrix 2021 to be released soon

The final NTA JEE Main 2021 seat matrix will be released after JEE Main session 4 result declaration. The seat matrix will contain number of seats available in IITs, NITs and GFITs. Last year, there were more than 13,000 seats in IITs and around 21,000 seats in NITs.

What if you do not qualify for JEE Advanced?

Once the JEE Main result 2021 is declared, the top 2.5 lakh candidates will be able to register for JEE Advanced 2021. Those who won't qualify will go through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA counselling 2021) for seats in other central institutions such as the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other government-funded institutions.

JEE Advanced registration to begin

NTA conducted the JEE Main 2021 session 4 on August 26, 27, 31 and September 1, 2, 2021. Soon after the declaration of JEE Main 2021 results, the online registration for JEE Advanced 2021 will commence. The exam is scheduled to be held on October 3, 2021. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main qualifiers will be able to apply for JEE Advanced 2021.

JEE Main Session 4 result to be out soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2021 result soon on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Going by the past trend, the final answer key and the result are declared on the same day.

The JEE Main 2021 session 4 was successfully conducted on August 26, 27, 31, September 1 and 2. File.

With the answer key of JEE Main 2021, the candidates’ response sheets will also be released. Candidates can match their response sheet and the final JEE Main answer key to calculate their probable scores in the exam.
