IISER IAT Registration 2025: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has revised the date to start the registration process for the IAT exam. Earlier, the registration was scheduled to start on March 5, but now it will start on March 10 with a deadline of April 15. The exam will be conducted on May 25.
The IISER entrance exam is being conducted for students who want to be admitted to the BS-MS dual degree programme for science students and a four-year BS degree programme for engineering sciences and economic sciences (offered only at IISER Bhopal).
Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent exams in the science stream with a minimum of 60% marks (for general candidates) are eligible to apply for IAT 2025. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), the minimum score requirement is 55% to apply for IAT 2025. Each of these categories requires a separate application form.

The IAT will consist of 60 questions, with 15 questions each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Candidates will have a total of 180 minutes to complete the test. The questions will be multiple-choice, with only one correct answer.
Marking Scheme
– Each correct answer will receive 4 marks.
– Each incorrect answer will incur a penalty of 1 mark.
– Unanswered questions will receive 0 marks.
– The maximum score achievable in the IAT is 240 marks.
