The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur today launched a certificate programme in Entrepreneurship. Commencing on November 6, the programme is designed to nurture and empower aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with the skills and practical knowledge needed to launch and manage successful businesses.
Students having a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum age of 21 years can apply by October 15 at the official website — cpe.iimraipur.edu.in. To ensure accessibility for all, sessions will be conducted in a blend of English and Hindi with field trips, interactive demonstrations, and visual presentations.
This three-month, non-residential course is specifically designed to empower Raipur residents and foster entrepreneurship within the local community. By providing targeted training and support, the programme aims to cultivate a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that contributes to the region’s economic growth, as mentioned in the press release.
By the end of the course, the competent authority of the course claims that participants will have developed a practical understanding of business disciplines with hands-on knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance standards. Additionally, the programme will include sessions on presentation skills, design thinking, and training techniques, among others.
Through immersive learning experiences, hands-on activities, practical exercises, and real-world case studies, participants will gain an understanding of business principles. The focus will be on real-life business scenarios, providing an in-depth look into the nuts and bolts of entrepreneurship.
