ICAI CA Inter Result September 2024: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on October 30 released the results for the CA Foundation and Intermediate examinations. The scorecards for CA Inter and Foundation are available at the official ICAI website — icai.org or icaiexam.icai.org. This year, women dominate top ranks in CA Intermediate exams with Mumbai’s Parami Umesh Parekh leading followed by Tanya Gupta and Vidhi Jain.
Mumbai-based Parami achieved 80.67 per cent while Gupta from Chennai scored 76.50 per cent and Jain from Delhi has a percentage of 73.50.
Former ICAI chairman Dhiraj Khandelwal in a post on microblogging site X further informed that women make up about 30 per cent of ICAI’s membership, a number that’s expected to grow to 50 per cent in the next five years. “The progress has been remarkable: in 2008, there were only about 8,000 female members. By 2018, that number had soared to 80,000, and today, it has surpassed 125,000,” said Khandelwal.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the exam dates for the January 2025 examinations. According to the official schedule, the Foundation Course exam will take place on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025. The Intermediate Course exam will be held on January 11, 13, and 15 for Group I, and on January 17, 19, and 21 for Group II.
Khandelwal in another post on the microblogging site mentioned that candidates who pass the CA Inter exam and are seeking articleship should register for the CA Final by October 31 to begin their articleship. Such students must have completed ITT and GMCS. According to Khandelwal, this registration will save six months for the students who are preparing for the CA Final exams.
For the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) CA Inter results 69227 candidates appeared for Group 1 exam. The pass percentage of group 1 candidates is 15.17. On the other hand, for group 2, 50760 candidates appeared from which 8117 cracked the examination. The pass percentage for group 2 is 15.99.
The Intermediate examination was held in September with 1,39,646 candidates appearing and exams were held across 459 centres. For the CA Foundation, males have a passing percentage of 20.47 while female candidates have 18.76. In the September Foundation Examination, 78,209 candidates were admitted and the exams were held across 453 Centers.
