AIIMS exams 2016: Students can choose only one centre

Last year, there were seven centres in Punjab and students were given three options to choose

This year’s, AIIMS prospectus has confused the students from Punjab preparing for their MBBS entrance exam.

Unlike last year, AIIMS will allot seat on a first-come-first-served basis. Moreover, they’ll get only one option to choose as their examination centre.

Last year, there were seven centres in Punjab and students were given three options. Chandigarh was not part of the list.

ReadAIIMS MBBS 2016: Check the exam date

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 29. The candidates can apply till March 15. The results are expected to be declared on June 14.

A total of 672 seats is available in 7 AIIMS-like institutions across India. The examination is proposed to be conducted in two shifts in different centres all over India.
