Weathermen forecast rain in next 24 hours

With moisture level in the air bringing down the temperature, the Indian Meteorological Department officials have forecast rain and thundershowers in the next 24 hours.

With moisture level in the air bringing down the temperature, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) officials have forecast rain and thundershowers in the next 24 hours.

IMD officials said that rain or thundershowers will take place in some areas and the maximum and minimum temperatures in the city will remain 380C and 210C respectively. The next 48 hours will see a partially cloudy sky with IMD officials predicting further dip in the minimum temperature to 20 0C.

The minimum and maximum temperatures recorded in the city on Tuesday was 38.80C and 22.30C respectively. IMD officials said that the change in the weather was due to fluctuation of wind level in the atmosphere. “The trough extending upto 1.5 km above sea level (ASL) runs from West Madhya Pradesh to Lakshadweep across the Madhya Maharashtra North interior Karnataka and coastal Karnataka. There is also the incursion of moisture from Bay of Bengal which is bringing change in temperature, along with rainfall,” said officials.
