Young Tiara Dhody is one lucky girl. To launch herself as an artist before she is an adult,to have an Amazonian for a mum who can draw in the most glamorous crowd,and a super dad to pay for it all. Besides,to have her friends and her family with her,all togged up and very proud.
Queenie Singh and Raja Dhody put aside their differences and put out a debut their daughter will never forget. The upscale banquets of Tote in Mumbai lent its pristine walls for the canvasses,the guests poured in unrelentingly and the cellar didnt run dry.
Mehr Rampal came in a boho floor-sweeper,sans makeup. Farah Khan,too,stopped by and appreciated Tiaras efforts. Natasha Poonawala has shed her pregnancy weight and enrolled in a short-term business course at Harvard. Surily Goel,Amrita Arora,Mozez Singh,Ramona and Bruno Rodella were among those present.
Queenies friends from Delhi,Priya Chatwal and Kalyani Saha (with her statuesque teenage daughter Tahira Tara Chawla) flew in for the big day.
Tiara had,at her table,her stunner of a sister Nadine Dhody (from Raja and Rita Dhodys marriage) and brother Rajveer,besides their many friends.
And when Siddharth Mallya arrived,he was taken for a walk-through by Tiara herself.
