The 29-year-old model, who has accused a police officer for allegedly repeatedly sexually abusing her in a police chowky at Saki Naka, will undergo a fresh medical check-up to gather any possible medical evidence in the case.

On April 23 former Assistant Police Inspector Sunil Khatpe was arrested for sexually assaulting the model, while two other policemen and five informers had been arrested on the charges of wrongful confinement and extortion. The model had alleged that she was sexually abused by the police officer on April 3.

“The victim, while lodging the complaint, had submitted a medical report prepared by the Cooper hospital confirming about the sexual abuse. The fresh medical tests will help us to gather any medical evidence which might still be on the victim,” a senior police officer told The Indian Express.
