Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao addressed a public meeting in Aurangabad on Monday.

This was the third public meeting of the BRS in Maharashtra with the first held at Nanded on February 5 and the second on March 26 at Kandhar Loha.

Monday evening’s meeting was held at the Jabinda grounds, which was decked up with BRS’ pink party flags and KCR cutouts. KCR said that despite having so many rivers, several parts of Maharashtra still faced drought-like situation.

“We have to question all this. We need a political change in this country to bring a change in the lives of people, especially farmers. Financial capital of the country is Mumbai, still Maharashtra is facing so many problems. The BRS will herald the change which is necessary in the country’’ he said.
