A 19-Year-old woman and her lover,who clicked and distributed nude pictures of a neighbourhood girl through mobile phones,have landed in jail. The two did this to blackmail the victim not to reveal their extra marital affair,the police said.
According to police,Draupadi Chauhan was in an unhappy marriage and was staying at her parents house in Thakkar Bappy Colony slums in suburban Chembur,where she was having an affair with her neighbour Madanlal Kudiya (42). When Draupadi realised that the girl knew of her affair,she shot a nude picture of her while she was bathing in her house on Monday and transferred it to Kudiya,who blackmailed her not to reveal anything about their affair, an officer said.
Kudiya transferred the victims obscene picture to a friends phone,who then transferred it to others,following which the victims brother learnt about it. After investigating the matter,the victims family registered a complaint with the police. An FIR was lodged and the two accused were arrested,police said,adding that the mobile phones of the accused have been seized.
The duo were produced before a holiday court in Bhoiwada which granted them bail of Rs 5,000 each, said B Jagdale,assistant inspector at Nehru Nagar police station.
