Taking stiff action against unauthorised colonisers,DC-cum-Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) Chief Administrator (CA) Rahul Tiwari on Monday allotted duties to junior engineers and assistant engineers to prepare a list of unauthorised colonies and be ready with an action taken report (ATR) by May 31,the day of the next meeting.
The officers will be making a list of the unauthorised colonies. They will also be getting FIRs registered against the unauthorised colonisers and going personally to the courts to defend their cases, said Tiwari.
Allotting the duties,he stated that GLADA Assistant Engineer Karnail Singh would be looking after the right side of Ferozepur Road and left side of Jalandhar Road and Mullanpur. JE Vinod Kumar will be looking after right side of Jalandhar road,left side of Chandigarh Road and Samrala Tehsil.
Bhupinder Singh will inspect the colonies on the right side of Chandigarh Road,left side of Malerkotla Road and Jagraon. Mukhtair Singh will be surveying the areas on the right side of Malerkotla road,left side of Ferozepur Road and Nawanshaher.
Similarly Payal,Doraha,Ferozepur,Zira,Moga,Phillaur,Riakot etc too will be inspected by different officers. The CA warned the officers to be fair in their survey reports.
