The police on Saturday booked a truck driver and manager of Hotel Park Plaza under Section 283 of the IPC for causing inconvenience and blocking the traffic.
ASI Satnam Singh at police station division number 5 said a driver parked his truck on service line near Hotel Park Plaza.
On interrogation,he confessed that the manager of the hotel allowed him to do so and thus both were booked.
However,truck driver Darshan Singh,who was from a village in Jalandhar,was released on bail soon after the case was registered.
