Designers bail plea rejected
The court of additional session judge HS Grewal rejected the bail plea of Deepali Bassi- the main accused in kidnapping industrialist Munish in which Rs 5 crores was demanded. Harpreet Sandhu ,advocate and counsel for complainant argued before the court and opposed the bail of the accused.

The students of Masters in Business Economics 4th Semester of Guru Nanak Girls College,Model Town,got varsity ranks in the Panjab University Semester Examinations. Akansha Gandhi stood 1st with 74.38%. Pawandeep Kaur Jassal stood 2nd with 72.88%. Manisha Jain stood 3rd in PU by securing 71.88% marks.
