Posing as fake cop: MLAs son-in-law sent in judicial remand
Mohammad Yasin,son-in-law of Congress MLA Mohammad Sadik,was sent in judicial remand Wednesday. He was arrested by police two days back in a case of fake identity after he was found posing as a crime branch officer of Mumbai. Gurpreet Singh,the man who supplied the fake card to Yasin,has also been arrested.
1984 riot victims protest re-opening of case against Jagdish Tytler
Riot victims of 1984 protested Wednesday against Delhi courts decision to re-open the case against Jagdish Tytler regarding his role. The Danga Peerat Welfare Society said there was enough proof that he was a leader in killing of Sikhs. Surjeet Singh,president of the society,said that justice delayed is justice denied,28 years have passed and now again a fresh probe. The widows are now in their 60s and 70s.
