A 32-year-old man riding a motorcycle lost his life in a bizarre road accident on Friday.
Two stray bulls were fighting, having locked their horns, on the road at Jalandhar bypass. The bulls rammed into a car and the driver lost his balance. The car further hit a motorcycle and Pawan Kumar, a resident of Aman Nagar who was riding the motorcycle, died on the spot.
Inspector Maninder Bedi, SHO at Salem Tabri police station, said that Kumar was coming from Jalandhar route on his motorcycle. Two bulls were fighting on the national highway and hit a Ford Fiesta car coming from the same side. The driver of the car lost balance and hit the motorcycle. Kumar also lost control of his motorbike and fell on the road. He died on the spot.
The police were yet to register a case as they were waiting for the family of the deceased to record their statement. Survived by wife and two children, the victim was an embroidery worker.
