Teenager ‘raped’ by schoolmates in Baghpat

Baghpat ASP MP Singh said: “The girl,a Class XI student,had gone to visit her friend in Bhilwari locality on Thursday. She alleged that her friend’s brother,a Class XII student of the same institution,and two of his friends raped her.”

The girl’s family initially reported the matter to the parents of the accused,but they rubbished the allegations. Subsequently,a police case was registered in the matter.

Angry locals,meanwhile,staged an agitation at the Badaut police station alleging the girl was raped at gunpoint.

While ruling out that the girl had been raped at gunpoint,Badaut police station SHO R K Singh said: “The accused are absconding,but the kin of the accused are being interrogated about their whereabouts.”

The medical report of the girl is yet to be received.
