More chargesheets against Maya ministers

The Special Investigation Bureau (SIB) of the police cooperative cell on Friday filed a supplementary chargesheet against four accused,including former ministers in Mayawati government Rangnath Mishra and Chandradeo Ram Yadav,on charges of allegedly taking kickbacks for allotting projects to Labour and Construction Cooperative Federation (LACCFED) during 2010-11.

The two others are retired managing director of LACCFED BP Singh and Deepak Dave,former manager of Punjab National Banks Lalbagh branch in Lucknow. All four accused are in jail.

The chargesheets were filed in the court of Lucknows district and sessions judge K K Sharma.

Deputy SP of SIB AP Gangwar said the supplementary chargesheets had been filed under IPC section 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and the Prevention of Corruption Act.
