The body of an 18-year-old girl was found in the garden of a coaching institute under mysterious circumstances in Lucknows Hazratganj area on Monday. Ghaseete,the father of the deceased – Rukmani – works as a peon at the Roustam coaching institute for the last one year.
No injury marks on the body have been found and the postmortem report is still awaited,said police.
Ghaseete in his application has informed us that his daughter died due to chronic stomach ailment but we are investigating into the case, said Additional Superintendent of Police,East,BP Ashok.
Ghaseetes family lives in Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh and Rukmani came to stay with her father on March 12. Both were staying at the coaching institute campus,said police.
Ghaseete told police that on Sunday night he and his daughter were sleeping in separate rooms of the coaching institute.
In the morning,the security guard of the institute informed Ghaseete about his daughters body which was lying in the garden behind the institute building. Senior staff of the institute was informed about the incident and police was also called who sent the body for postmortem.
