Lucknow: The BJP on Tuesday named its mayoral candidates for Ghaziabad and Loni municipal corporation polls. While Teluraj Kamboj will be the mayoral candidate for Ghaziabad,Manoj Dhama has been named candidate for Loni Nagar Palika Parishad, said party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak. The party has announced candidates for 12 municipal corporations.

road mishap
Hathras: Three persons were killed and another injured when two motorcycles collided in Sikandararau area on late Monday night. Hasrat Ali,his mother Munni Begum and Munna were killed when the motorbikes they were riding collided head on near Toli village,said police. One Nand Kishore was injured in the accident and has been admitted to the medical college in Aligarh.

in Azamgarh
Azamgarh: A 27-year-old man was shot dead by some unidentified persons in Mehnajpur area in Azamgarh on Tuesday. Kameshwar Singh,who used to supply diesel,was shot at by some persons riding a motor-cycle following a dispute over some trivial issue. He died on the spot.
