Union Home Minister P Chidambaram,who comes to Kolkata on Saturday morning,will also make a trip to Lalgarh on Sunday morning on a chopper,said state Chief Secretary Ashok Mohan Chakraborti.
Chidambaram will visit Mangalkot in Burdwan,which has seen frequent political clashes,on Saturday and return to Kolkata the same day to hold a meeting with the chief minister,said Chakraborti. According to the chief secretary,Chidambaram is scheduled to visit Itanagar in Arunachal on Friday but if the visit is cancelled due to heavy rains there,the home minister is likely to reach Kolkata on Friday evening.
