Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is all set to begin her much-awaited tour of the Maoist-affected areas. During her six-day tour,which will start from her visit of Darjeeling hills on October 10,Banerjee will also make an assessment of the implementation of various schemes announced by her from time to time since she came to power on May 20.
The Chief Ministers visit will end with her trip to Jhargram in the heart of the Maoist-affected West Midnapore district on October 15.
While on October 10 and 11,the Chief Minister will be in Darjeeling to review the development works and take stock of the situation in the areas ravaged by the recent earthquake,she will be at Dooars in Jalpaiguri district for the next two days to meet district officials there.
