Hours to go,Mukhi spends ‘quality time’ at home

Mukhi maintains he is always involved in the electoral work during polling and counting. Even on voting day,Mukhi sat through the entire day with party workers,collected forms till late evening and even sealed the EVMs. “I reached home at 4 am the next morning as we were busy with post-poll work. So I took the day off but next day I was back at my office in Janakpuri,” Mukhi said.

Though Mukhi has not found time to take his family out for dinner yet,the only relaxation for him has been spending time with his family and catching up on reading. “During the elections I barely had time for my family. Now I can catch up with my children and grandchildren; there is nothing more relaxing than spending a few private moments with my family,” he added.

Mukhi’s current read can hardly be called light,but as a professor he finds it an eye-opener of sorts.

“I am reading Who owns CBI-The Naked Truth by B R Lal and think it is one of those books which really unravels the truth remarkably,” he says.
