Aiming to ensure better connectivity and improve the development of the area, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Sunday announced that his government has given approval for Metro connectivity from Faridabad’s Ballabgarh to Palwal.
Addressing the Gauravshali Bharat Rally at Gajpuri in Palwal on Sunday, Khattar said Haryana is getting massive projects from the central government.
The CM said that the central and state governments, both led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), were taking “remarkable steps towards ensuring inclusive development”.
He also extended gratitude Prime Minister Narendra Modi for projects like the metro and National Highways coming up in Haryana with the help of the central government. Khattar said that with the advent of major state highways, there has been unprecedented development in Palwal and Faridabad regions. He added that the construction of Jewar Airport will also improve development works in the area. “It is a matter of pride for the region that the Mumbai Expressway is also passing through these districts, which will connect the region with other parts of the country,” he added.
Khattar said that with the slogan Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek, development works are being carried out equally in the state without any disparity. This statement came amidst Union Minister of State and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh’s constant reminders for “South Haryana unity”.
At a rally in Gurgaon constituency on Sunday, Rao had once again raised issues of interest to South Haryana, saying that the people of the region “have always been cheated, but the BJP has paid attention to the interests of the region”.
Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that the CM’s leadership has worked to give a new direction to Haryana, adding that the newly added four national highways at Faridabad are set to accelerate the progress of the district.
