The caretaker of the farmhouse at South Delhi’s Fatehpurberi area, which Leena and Sukash rented, had some idea about their activities. Baigraj Sawar said one evening he saw a trailer truck unload a Bentley,a Land Cruiser,a Land Rover and a Mercedes at the farmhouse.

“I was amazed to see so many luxury cars. They already had a Rolls Royce,a BMW and other luxury cars. When I asked, madam (Leena) told me that they had ordered the cars,” Baigraj told Newsline.

Baigraj said Sukash would often tell him to keep visitors away. “They possessed weapons and kept a pistol in every car,” he claimed.

The couple moved into the farmhouse on May 6,Baigraj said. “The owner told me they were looking for a caretaker and I agreed since they were offering me a good salary, about Rs 25,000 a month,” he said.

Baigraj said a couple, who came in a Ford Endeavour, often visited Leena and Sukash at the farmhouse. “They had a sticker of a political party on their car and would often stay the night. Four days before madam’s arrest, the couple had come over. They were accompanied by three other women and two other men. There was an argument that night and I saw Sukash sir deflate the tyres of their car.”

Baigraj said 15 days before Leena’s arrest,Sukash returned home without his Mercedes car. “That evening, sir and madam told us that he (Sukash) was a bookie and had fled from Mumbai after police busted the IPL spot fixing racket. They assured us that they weren’t into spot-fixing anymore,” Baigraj said.

After arresting Leena on May 27,police headed to the farmhouse. Baigraj claimed Sukash packed two bags with jewellery and left in an Indica.
