Delhi govt declares public holiday on Nov 25 to commemorate Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 350th Shaheedi Diwas

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Saturday that the Delhi government will observe November 25 as a public holiday to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur.

Announcing this on X, Gupta said, “Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life stands as a timeless and powerful symbol of resistance against tyranny, religious intolerance and injustice. He was not only a revered Guru of the Sikh faith but also a guardian of humanity.”
