The World Culture Festival, organised by the Art of Living Foundation headed by spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar kicked off on the floodplains of River Yamuna under the shadow of a raging controversy. The organisation was accused of flouting environmental norms and causing damage to the land on the banks of the river. On its part, AOL has denied the allegations.
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the chief guest at the function, attended by thousands of people who came from all over the world. Although there was a light drizzle and hails storm, it did not dampen the mood at the event venue.
Today is day three of the World Culture Festival. We bring you all the live updates here.
