The Sangharsh Chauhan Memorial Trophy to be awarded to the best football player in the Junior and Senior category from Somerville School,Vasundhara Enclave,was instituted on the occassion of the Inter-house sports oath-taking ceremony.
The oath was administered by national-level cueist Manan Chandra. The Sangharsh trophy has been instituted in the memory of the late Sangharsh Chauhan,former football captain of the school,who died in a road accident recently. Somerville Schools’s director Tressler and GS Chauhan,father of Sangharsh,were present on the occasion.
