All 152 flats offered by Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) Apna Ghar Aawas Yojana were booked within an hour of opening on Friday, with the authority expecting to fetch a revenue of Rs 100 crore, officials said.

As part of an extension of the housing scheme, the DDA had offered 152 additional flats on a first-come-first-served basis, comprising 76 middle-income group (MIG) flats at Loknayakpuram’s Block D, and 76 economically weaker section (EWS) flats at Narela’s sector A1-A4, Block G.

Officials said that while the flats in Loknayakpuram and Narela have been repeatedly offered under multiple schemes since 2023, the response this time was a result of “aggressive and innovative sales and marketing strategies” adopted by the DDA under the supervision of Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena.

In view of the demand, DDA has extended the scheme by three months, until November 26, said officials. Flats available under the scheme include Low Income Group (LIG), MIG, and High Income Group (HIG) units in Narela, along with LIG flats in Loknayakpuram and Siraspur.
