MLA’s son booked for cheating

Lakshman has alleged that he was engaged in a real estate deal with Santosh.

The Sanjaynagar police registered a cheating case against an MLA’s son on Monday on the orders of a sessions court.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (north) Sandeep Patil said one Lakshman had filed a case against Santosh,son of DC Thammanna,the JD(S) MLA from Maddur,for allegedly cheating him to the tune of Rs 9 crore.

Lakshman has alleged that he was engaged in a real estate deal with Santosh.

He claimed Santosh promised the sale of a parcel land for Rs 9 crore and collected the money but did not deliver.
