World Human Rights Day celebrated

The National Service Scheme units of Dev Samaj College of Education,Sector 36,celebrated World Human Rights Day and International Animal Rights Day to sensitise prospective teachers towards creating empathetic feelings for each other and join hands to curb cruelty and to protect animals.

The National Service Scheme units of Dev Samaj College of Education,Sector 36,celebrated World Human Rights Day and International Animal Rights Day to sensitise prospective teachers towards creating empathetic feelings for each other and join hands to curb cruelty and to protect animals. The programme commenced with students delivering speeches and reciting poems. An essay writing competition was also held where students expressed their views and thoughts on Human and Animal Rights. Dr. Jyoti Khanna,Principal of the college addressed the gathering and told them to practice human dignity which was the foundation of freedom,justice and peace in the world. She also urged everyone present on the occasion to adopt vegetarianism and be kind towards animals.
