Woman,daughter run over by train

A mother-dauther duo were run over when they were walking along a railway track at Naya Gaon village railway level crossing number 127,near Ambala City station,on Sunday.

A mother-dauther duo were run over when they were walking along a railway track at Naya Gaon village railway level crossing number 127,near Ambala City station,on Sunday.

According to information,Sinder,40,a resident of Hiranagar colony,along with her daughter Priti,5,and son Ashok,7,was going on foot along the track to reach the station. They didn’t notice the express train coming from Punjab and were run over. The son,however,escaped unhurt. She was taking both the children to a religious place Naina Garh to a tantrik for treatment of her daughter.

GRP officer Avtar Singh Walia said the bodies had been sent to the civil hospital for conducting a post-mortem.
