Geetanshu Trehan’s superb knock of 43 went in vain as Vampire XI lost to Samsung XI by four wickets in the inaugural Vampire BAS Trophy held at Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19,on Sunday. Samsung XI skipper Surinder Singh won the toss and decided to field first. His decision proved right as the bowlers restricted Vampire XI for just 125 runs. Pankaj took three wickets,while Surinder Baijee and Vikash bagged two wickets each. In reply,Samsung XI made 127 for 6 in 17.2 overs. Rajkumar smashed 36 runs,while Kishore contributed 34 runs. Harminder Singh and Rocky Ratta took two wickets each.
