Twenty-four points by Aditya propelled Vivek High School, Mohali, to a 53-43 win over Vivek High School, Chandigarh, and emerge as the champions in the boys’ U17 final on the concluding day of the Sardar Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Trophy organised by Vivek High School, Mohali, at Sector 42 Sports Complex, Chandigarh.

It was a match dominated by the host cagers as Aditya led the team from the front. For the losing side, Veer Hriday scored 16 points. In the girls’ U-17 final, Guru Nanak Public School, Chandigarh scored a 51-43 win over PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force High Grounds, Chandigarh. Sukhman scored 26 points for the winning team while Seerat scored 21 points for the losing side.

In the boys’ U-14 final, St Kabir School, Chandigarh scored a 45-38 win over Strawberry Fields High School, Chandigarh. Vardan netted 27 points for the winning team while Riyansh scored 15 points for the losing side. It was a winning day for Sacred Heart School, Chandigarh as the team scored a 32-19 win over Learning Paths School, Mohali in the girls’ U14 final. For the winning team, Callista scored nine points while Khushnoor scored 16 points for the losing side.

In the boys’ U12 final, Yadavindra Public School, Mohali scored a 22-8 win over Vivek High School, Mohali. Samarth scored 20 points for the winning team. In the girls’ U12 final, Learning Path School, Mohali scored a 20-6 win over Yadavindra Public School, Mohali. Vanisha netted 10 points for the winning team while Laina scored three points for the losing side.
